Youth Care Worker

Boys Town’s Youth Care Program needs individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of youth. Must have a concern for youth and a perceived ability to model appropriate behaviors and morals. The individual partners with youth care professionals, using reinforcement and teaching techniques, social skill interactions, relationship-building strategies and youth empowerment, for youth ages 9-19 (ages 6-11 in Rhode Island) in a short-term assessment facility. Duties include: ensuring safety of the youth, positive and negative reinforcement, providing structured activities for the youth, meal prep, teaching youth independent living skills, administer medication, transports youth, additional duties.
