Visitor Policy 

Boys Town Website Visitors Policy

This web site is owned and operated by or on behalf of Boys Town, Father Flanagan's Boys' Home. We recognize that visitors to our sites may be concerned about the information they provide to us, and how we treat that information. This Visitors Policy provides some information concerning visits to our web sites. This policy may be changed or updated from time to time, without notice and at the sole discretion of Boys Town.

This policy is applicable to all web sites owned and operated by Boys Town, including but not limited to www.boystown.org, www.boystownusa.org, www.babyhearing.org and www.parenting.org.

 

VISITOR POLICY

For each visit to our web sites, our web server automatically recognizes the consumer's domain name and browser.

We collect the domain name of visitors to our web sites, the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, information on what pages consumers access and information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey answers, event registrations and employment application information.

The information we collect is used to improve the content of our web sites, used to notify consumers about updates to our web sites, used by us to contact consumers for marketing purposes and employment purposes.

If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please contact us via e-mail at helpkids@boystown.org.

If you supply us with your postal address online, you may receive periodic mailings from us with information on new products and services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please contact us via e-mail at helpkids@boystown.org.

Portions of Boys Town's mailing lists are made available to other organizations of common interest.

If you prefer your mailing information not be shared, you may place your name on a do not share list. To do so, please contact Boys Town Donor Services at 1-800-217-3700; by e-mail at helpkids@boystown.org; or write to us at Donor Services, Boys Town, Boys Town, NE 68010. Please specify 'Do Not Share' and include your full name and address.

If you supply us with your telephone number online, we may contact you with information regarding orders you have placed, new products or upcoming events, or employment application information. If you do not wish to be contacted this way, please contact us via e-mail at helpkids@boystown.org.

 

"Cookies"

Visitors should be aware that information and data may be automatically collected by Boys Town web sites through the use of "cookies."
